Originally from Texas, I’ve lived on three continents, in four countries, and in 17 cities in my life – more than half of it in Germany. I was a professor teaching world literature and film at a famous, liberal arts college in the USA when, in 1994, the world wide web caught my attention and enthusiasm for the possibilities of digital communication.
Shortly thereafter, I moved to Hamburg and started working in the marketing communications industry. All told, I spent 23 years in international business development for some of Europe’s leading marketing communications agencies. That’s more than two decades spent helping companies, brands and employees to achieve greater financial growth and become more successful and content in their work.
